1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 540
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 540 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 1 and 2 with the following:
4 "AN ACT to amend certain Acts in relation to child
5 support."; and
6 on page 1, line 9, by changing "Human Services" to "Public
7 Aid"; and
8 by replacing lines 29 through 31 of page 1 and all of page 2
9 with the following:
10 "Section 10. The Clerks of Courts Act is amended by
11 adding Section 15.1 as follows:
12 (705 ILCS 105/15.1 new)
13 Sec. 15.1. Child support information. The clerks of the
14 circuit courts may, upon request, cooperate with and supply
15 information to counties and municipalities wishing to create
16 and maintain World Wide Web pages containing information on
17 individuals who are in arrears in their child support
18 obligations and have been found to be in contempt of court as
19 a result of the existence of that arrearage.
20 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
