Provides that territory annexed under an agreement shall be zoned according to the agreement. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by 6 changing Section 7-1-47 as follows: 7 (65 ILCS 5/7-1-47) (from Ch. 24, par. 7-1-47) 8 Sec. 7-1-47. Automatic zoning classification. The 9 corporate authorities of any municipality may provide by 10 ordinance that when territory is annexed to such 11 municipality, the territory automatically is classified to 12 the highest restrictive zoning classification providing 13 principally for residential use under the annexing 14 municipality's zoning ordinance. 15 (Source: Laws 1965, p. 2178.)
