 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1878
 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1878, AS  AMENDED,
 3    as follows:
 4    in  Section 5, in Sec. 7-103, in paragraph (60), by replacing
 5    the final period with the following:
 6        ";
 7             (61)  for a period of 24 months after the  effective
 8        date  of  this amendatory Act of 1998 by the City of Peru
 9        for removal of existing residential deed restrictions  on
10        the  use  of  property,  and the rights of other property
11        owners in the subdivision to enforce those  restrictions,
12        as  they  apply to lots 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 in
13        Urbanowski's Subdivision to the  City  of  Peru,  all  of
14        which are owned by the Illinois Valley Community Hospital
15        and  adjacent  to the existing hospital building, for the
16        limited purpose of allowing the Illinois Valley Community
17        Hospital  to  expand  its  hospital  facility,  including
18        expansion  for  needed  emergency  room  and   outpatient
19        services; under this paragraph (60) compensation shall be
20        paid  to  those  other property owners for the removal of
21        their rights to enforce the residential deed restrictions
22        on  property  owned  by  the  Illinois  Valley  Community
23        Hospital,  but  no  real  estate  owned  by  those  other
